Terms & Conditions

These placeholder terms describe how Caafimaad Link may be used. They should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before publication.

Free second-opinion consultations

Caafimaad Link connects patients with volunteer medical professionals for free remote second-opinion consultations. Information shared during a consultation is intended to support discussion and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for examination, treatment or follow-up with a qualified in-person clinician.

Volunteer professionals

Listed doctors and other medical professionals participate as volunteers. They remain responsible for the professional opinions they provide within the consultation, while patients remain responsible for deciding whether and how to seek further care.

Not for emergencies

Caafimaad Link is not an emergency medical service. Do not use the platform for life-threatening symptoms, urgent injury or any situation requiring immediate care. Contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest emergency department.

Accounts and appointments

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and use the platform respectfully. Appointments are subject to doctor availability and may be cancelled under the platform rules or when an account is removed.

Health data and your GDPR choices

We handle personal and health information in line with the consent you provide at registration and our Privacy Policy. You can exercise access and erasure rights through Account & data, including downloading an export or permanently deleting your account. Deletion may require us to retain a minimal anonymised record needed to preserve another person's care history and appointment audit trail.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform, impersonate another person, share another person's private information, interfere with consultations or use the service for advertising, diagnosis without a consultation or other unlawful activity.

Changes and contact

We may update these placeholder terms as the service develops. The published version will include an effective date and a contact method for questions, complaints or data-rights requests.
