About Caafimaad Link
Our founder

Caafimaad Link was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to make informed decisions about their health, whatever they can afford. Growing up with strong ties to Somalia, I have seen first-hand how the cost of consultations, blood work, pharmacy visits and surgery can put even a second opinion out of reach — in a system where every single step costs money.
Caafimaad Link is my way of giving back. It connects Somalis at home with diaspora doctors at no cost, so anyone can get a second opinion and a clear follow-up plan before committing to treatment — something they can take to their own doctor with confidence.
Our long-term vision is continuity of care: the same doctor seeing the same patient every few months, building the kind of trusted relationship a personal GP provides. It is a model built for doctors too — a way to give back to their community without disrupting their personal or professional lives.
Be part of it
Patients can book a free second-opinion consultation, and doctors can join the volunteer roster.
